Turkish Towel Peshtemal has been used for a long time. They can be used for so many different areas. Our washed pure Jude Linen Peshtemal is made by hand on small looms. Then boiled and washed with traditional olive oil soap. This makes them very soft and durable. Because linen is more durable than cotton, less delicate when exposed to the sun, and quickly absorbs and releases moisture, this item is ideal for use as a bath sheet or beach towel.
In old times, Peshtemal was used to cover the body in a Turkish hammam or Turkish bath. It has a history of nearly six hundred years in Anatolia hammam culture.
Made of pure Jude linen and machine washable.
